Thank you for your help! It's seems to be the lift that brings the papers in place to staple and fold it not going to the right place.
They replaced the motor, then the folding inside unit, the computer board that runs it, and now they have ordered us a whole new finisher. I can't see that helping either since they replaced basically the whole inside. Benn going on for 6 months, they just can't get it right. I owed a customer 8 more book the other day, got 22 bad ones before I got 8 good ones. It goes anywhere from perfect to over 2" off. Do you think it could be a driver issue, not commanding the thing to stop in place? My fiery software is up to date. I am using the ps driver. PCI does not give me the option to fold or staple a booklet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! We have been waiting on new finisher for 2 weeks. At the end of the month I have a big booklet job due, getting nervous... There is an eye that looks like it tells the lift where to stop but that has been replaced also.
