You are aware there are arrows on the screen to get to more pages of options right?

Re: C550 Skew help
Thank you all for your help and suggestions however it turned out i had to do a factory reset to restore the alignment options.
however since doing so there is no longer an issue.
but has created a new one where x & y axis in command workstation do nothing.
thanks again
Phaser 6510 error 024-747 when printing a custom size
Xerox Phaser 6510 DN (windows 10 64 bit, Xerox driver: V4) Once in a while I need to print a "custom size" that does not fit any of the choices available in the print driver drop downs. I print those from Microsoft word and in the application I use page setup to define the size which for example would be 6" X 6". I insert a piece of paper cut to that size but the printer stops with an error: 024-747 which I know is related to the wrong size paper. What am I missing? Thanks
Re: Phaser 6510 error 024-747 when printing a custom size
You set the size as 6x6 on the printer, then the same in the driver
And again in Word and be sure you choose a tray in Word too else you will get an error (it overrides the driver and Automatically Select cannot be trusted to work
Re: Phaser 6510 error 024-747 when printing a custom size
found the answer here:
(sounds like the V4 does not have as much capability in this regard as the V3.) the question becomes what do we give up in downgrading to the V3 and can the presets in V4 be saved and then restored to V3?
Re: Phaser 6510 error 024-747 when printing a custom size
Thanks Joe. I am using the V4 driver and the custom sizes don't seem to show as choices. (The examples you posted look to be using the V3 driver, right?)
Re: Phaser 6510 error 024-747 when printing a custom size
Yes, mine is V3, note I am the guy who answered the one you linked
Frequent crashes and reboot - 7855
Hello
I have a workcenter 7855i, it crashes 3-4 times everyday. The log has lot of these entries:
2094 04/16/2019 11:26:24 50 Process Terminated Xerox7855 agent crash
2095 04/16/2019 11:26:25 2 System Shutdown Xerox7855
2096 04/16/2019 11:29:34 65 Abnormal System Termination Xerox7855
2097 04/16/2019 11:29:34 1 System Startup Xerox7855
I tried to completely reset the configuration and I re-configure the xerox without importing the clone file. Also the firmware has been upgraded to 073.040.009.03700 but the issue is still here... Any ideas?
Thanks
F.
Re: Frequent crashes and reboot - 7855
Hi,
Have you upgrade the firmware by AltBoot method with FORCED_UPGRADE?
What error codes have in Fault History?

Port flaps on printer network
This is a problem on multiple Xerox printers in my network (over 30!). The network switches these printers connect to (all HPE 5900-series) report hundreds of up/down messages from the network ports these printer connect to. I don't think it's due to printers going into low-power mode, because that would mean each printer wakes up hundreds of times a day. This problem does not occur with any other devices on my network, just the Xerox printers.
I've looked over the printers' network settings, but I can't find anything that would explain this. The only thing I see that might be causing a problem is the Zero-Configuration Networking Self Assigned Address is enabled; each printer has a statically-assigned IP address, so I don't think this should be enabled, but I don't know this is the issue. It reports an address of 0.0.0.0, which leads me to think it isn't acutally using this setting.
I am a network engineer, not a printer guy, but I've done printer support in the past (the VERY distant past), and I've never seen an issue like this before. It doesn't seem to be causing any issues, but it does generate hundreds of warning alarms in my network management software. HPE is suggested just blocking those alarms, but I'd rather get to the source of the issue.
Does anyone have experience with this issue?
Re: Port flaps on printer network
Here is an entirely unrelated thing to try that I am 95ish % sure will fix it.
I can't explain why, because years after the Engineering team explained it to me I still think they don't actually know either ;-), but alas, even though the USB port is in no way being used....
EWS > Properties > Connectivity > Setup > USB Port State in sleep mode
Change it to Powered
This fixes the exact same issue in Connectkey products too
Re: Port flaps on printer network
That is just weird enough to work. I'll give it a try and report back.

Re: Phaser 6510 error 024-747 when printing a custom size
Thanks Joe. You mentioned "You set the size as 6x6 on the printer, then the same in the driver and again in Word". the only choices for custom size on the printer is: portrait (Y) size and landscape (Y) size so i set to portrait 6" as the (X) size is not a choice. X is usually the width and Y the length. and i am sure i got it right in Word and the driver specifying the tray but still the 024-747 error.
Re: Frequent crashes and reboot - 7855
Check the fan on the SBC board (that one with network port on it). Sometimes that fan fails. Also check the outlet power.
Next step is to replace the HDD and reload the software by AltBoot with FORCED_UPGRADE and DISABLE_DATA_BACKUP
Re: Phaser 6510 error 024-747 when printing a custom size
FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!
I had the paper type on the printer's control panel set to "Letterhead" and once I changed to "Plain", it seems to be printing custom sizes! thanks, Joe.

Hello
The HDD has been yet replaced. I will try to check the fan and the outlet power. So do you think it is a hardware related issue? In your opinion why I see "process terminated - agent crash"? It seems to me a software issue...

Re: Frequent crashes and reboot - 7855
Well, in that case, I'm trying to get temperature from SNMP, but it seems that there is no such OID for that purpose. Am I wrong?
