Hello betyca,
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Xerox Print Driver? I would recommend trying that to see if it resolves your print issue.

Hello,
Lately the cyan toner from my printer is transferring poorly to the paper and the result is that a buildup of toner gets stuck at the entrance and also settles everywhere. See the pictures. I don't know how to fix this problem. I have tried cleaning but the problem keeps coming back and I have no improvement in the impression of CYAN. I changed the drums and also the toner container but nothing works. Hope to find a solution here.
Regards
Hello Hagita,
You need to make sure the paper in the tray matches EXACTLY to the paper in the print menu. Size, type, and orientation need to match EXACTLY.
This just happened to me again - I put my stock in the drawer, checked the profiles and all was correct so I ran my job. Next job (same paper) - reloaded drawer, checked profile again and it had reverted to default settings.
I'm getting paranoid about checking this so I don't have to re-run jobs (I HATE to re-run jobs).
Side note: It's also annoying that to check that the profile is correct is 3 menus deep in the UI (first world problems, right?) but in a production environment time is money...
Somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong!
Hello Itrymybest,
I spoke to a specialist and he said it could be due to some kind of mismatch with the settings you're trying to use in Publisher to force what you are looking for, or possibly some kind of driver issue.
One question: Are you seeing issues duplexing when using other applications? Are you able to get other documents built in publisher to duplex as expected?
It really needs more in depth investigation by support to find out what specifically is happening both with how you have set up their workflow and with the device/driver setup, it seems to be a very specific issue on the face of it, where the devil will be in the details. For some reason, just in the last week, whenever we go to print, we get this popup that says "Welcome to Office On The Web", which we have to close to go beyond. We use Office 2019 H&B, NOT Office 365, and besides, this happens whether we're printing from an office ap or Adobe Acrobat (not the MS PDF printer). We've pinned it down to being something to do with the WC-7220 driver, because if we try to print to our HP printer, we don't get this. If we print to the WC from AUTOCAD, we get it too.
Any idea what this is and how we can get rid of it??
I have a xerox phaser 3040 and can`t find a driver for big sur. the printer is in perfect condition and I cannot use it. Why Big Sur driver is not available for this device?
Hello, this is the worst printer I have ever bought in my life, in tray one I have legal size sheets, but when I print I get an alert to confirm paper size and then an alert to continue. the experience is horrible. it is a xerox b215. worse if you try to print letter size.
Is there any way for me to print regardless of sheet size? as does any NORMAL printer?
Hello Leonardo,
Can you please post some pictures of the error on the screen and some pictures of the file > print menu. There is most likely a discrepancy between the two and pictures can help.
Recently, the Phaser 6250DP I had for years stopped printing black characters. I initally thought it could be as a result of an upgrade in Windows 10, or a change in the print driver. But it's not either of these. All colors print except black. I printed a menu map and the print that should have been black were unprinted (they were white in the colored blocks). I installed a new black toner cartridge and the printouts were unchanged. I turned the printer off and on numerous times. I don't see any error codes when the printer is turned on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Hello there,
I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.
Hello acbookstore,
From what I am finding, that looks like a service fault code. Please call Support at 1-800-821-2797.
My 3260 kept going offline and couldn't get it back online. Win10/64. De-installed all of the 3260 software and downloaded the latest Win10/64 software from XEROX site. Can't complete the installation (can't find printer) even though I can successfully ping the device from several PCs / mobile devices.
Anyone have any ideas?
I am having a similar issue when trying to print form a computer, but I am getting the following MCBAssert Message:
Assertion failed
Task:PJLT
Is this also a hardware or a programming issue?
I really don't understand what's with the random paper settings.
In an earlier thread you all were saying to use different settings and that Xerox even told you to.
Sounds like Xerox techs can't read. You use the paper setting with the corresponding GSM range in which your paper's GSM falls in.
The printer literally creates a gap for the paper to pass through and the thickness of the gap is determined by that setting. So I've been told at least.
Our now copy and print supervisor once tried doing business cards, and went so far as to set it to a plain paper setting. Needless to say, the combination of the plain paper setting and long edge first caused a jam so bad that a tech needed to come out and fix it... And this bimbo is a supervisor now lol. Tried calling her out on it and telling the GM it was sheer negligence, and they didn't believe me. The supervisor just claims "well its only because I did long edge. Xerox said to never use long edge first". Never mind you told the printer you were printing on plain paper when in reality you were shoving some thicc $h!t in its rear end.
Literally all she does is shift blame whenever you try to teach her responsibility. Can't wait until she quits and goes elsewhere.
alguien podria ayudarme a configurar mi xerox 550 con el pc
I SEEM TO BE HAVING TROUBLE SINCE I DOWNLOADED THE WINDOWS10 PROFESSIONAL VERSION
Is there even such a thing as Xerox supporting their customers, I wonder
I tried to install the driver for the WorkCentre 3025 on a PC and it failed with "Remote Procedure Call Failed".
Tried again after a complete reinstall of Windows 10, but failed again.
On another PC, I had no problems.
Any idea...?
