Can we assume this is an Apple Mac device?
If it is, then it is a caution sign, typically from supply levels or from tray 5 being empty, not a stop, so printing can continue.
In Windows you only get the results in the driver
In OSX you get it on the printer name as well, sort of a notification to look deeper.
The only way to stop them from displaying is to kill bi-di in the driver. Easiest way to do that is to install the printer on the Mac manually and choose HP Jet Direct as the port, which does not support the bi-directional capabilities.
