8560 Error 07,010,43:2644

Can someone PLEASE tell me what this error is and exactly how to fix it.. The printer turned on rebooted 3x then worked fine. Then I turned off the power and back on the power and now it is giving me this  Error 07,010,43:2644 , This has been a ongoing problem since I got this unit. It takes almost a whole day to get it back up and running. Any help would be great.. Thanks in advance

Print preferences are always done the same no matter the manufacturer, no matter the driver.

 

Start > Devies and Printers

right-click the printer and go to Printing Preferences and set what ever you want as the local Windows install Preferences.

Then, to set the preferences to the clients go to Start > Devices and printers

Right click and go to Properties > Advanced > Printing Defaults and set the preferences how they should appear at the client PC's

What it means is this:

Printhead is Stuck or is Not tilting Properly over the Cam

 

• Check that the Process Drive gear train is properly homed.
• Check for obstructions or ink spills around the Printhead.
• Verify the Printhead travels smoothly from left to right.
• Check the Printhead Restraint Arms.

Hi El,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please try the following:

Verify the printer's power sources and isolate the printer

 

    1. Turn the printer off.
    2. Disconnect all cables from the printer.
    3. Plug the power cord into the printer and directly into a known-to-be-good, wall outlet. Make sure the printer is not plugged into a surge protector, power strip or uninterruptable power supply (UPS).
Note: If the problem only occurs when the printer is plugged into the surge protector, power strip, UPS or one specific outlet, then the problem is with that device or outlet.
  1. Turn the printer on. If problem persists service will be required. If problem does not reoccur go to the next step.
  2. Turn the printer off.
  3. Plug in one of the cables and turn the printer on. If the problem reoccurs the problem is with the cable, network or peripherial. If the problem does not reoccur repeat this process of elimination with the other cables to determine the source of the problem.

Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

I would have a technician come in and baseline the machine. They will run internal registration adjustments and get the machine to an in spec starting point.

I will, As soon as you can inform me of how to fix this error. I do not have step by step instructions therefor I can not fix it. Please provide these instructions so I can see if they resolve the issue. Thank you

OK, so I disabled Bi-Directional Communication and it hasn't sorted the problem.

Sometimes (but not everytime) it adds these extra files to the print queue even when only printing one sheet. This means that printing takes several minutes for even small basic files. I'm sure that this has only started happening since I upgraded the driver to 3.64.

Ok so I got the unit to work last night and print, Then shut it down for the night and now when I came in this morning I am getting another error. 07,010,43:2647 Any idea what that one means? It seems to just want to keep throwing up random codes to me..

All the 07,010,432 errors are for the print head. I linked a site that explains how to try and fix it.

If you can't fix it with those steps you will need to pay someone to fix it for you.

IS there a reason that when I do get it to come on and leave it on it works 100% but if i shut it down and it cools down then it has to be restarted and reset 5x before it works again?

I would have to guess that it is because the it goes to the home position when it shuts off. Until it doe shtat there is no issue.

Same with the turning on multiple times, it just keeps trying to move past whatever obstruction it hits until it finally passes it, atthat point it works fine until it goes back to the home position.

I`ve try with global printer driver, that download itself from internet but the error persist.

For now I leave that PC on PCL6 driver (minimum latency) and will reinstall Windows, hope this will affect the problem.

Reinstalling Windows will do nothing.

Either uninstall all the drivers and install only the GPD from this link and make sure you choose the "Xerox GPD PS v3.xxx.x.x.x" selection and not the "Xerox Global Print Driver PS".

 

Or just go ahead and disable SNMP in the port.

Workstation error code 393.320.00 and 303.707.00 - call the admin

Hello xerox-experts,

 

 

we have an Xerox Workcenter 7225 which lists the error code 393.320.00 and sometimes 303.707.00.

The machine starts up, but then said "error in xenographic system - call administrator".

Well, I am the administrator & I was called, but I was not able to find any obvious errors :-(

 

Do you have any hint what could cause this error  & how to fix it ?

303,707 is a power supply fault.

393,320 is a failed developer motor.

 

"Error in Xerographic system" is the developer/drum typically.

 

My stab-in-the-dark here is that the machine is either plugged into an outlet that is faulty, or that it got hit by a surge and sustained damage.

 

You can try just shutting it down and removing the drums (All 4) and re-seating them, use the cleaning wand while you are in there and reboot.

 

But, you most likely will need a tech visit.

Can't Print 1200 dpi on Xerox Phaser 5500 on OS X 10.10

It only lets me choose 600 dpi. I will also note that I have not installed any drivers as none are available for 10.10. 

Paper catalog on Xerox 4112 abd Command Workstation

Is there a way to get our Xerox 4112 and Command Workstation 5.7 to share paper catalog? Right now I can put in all the paper I could possible imagine in CW, but when I go to the Xerox machine my options are limited to:
• Plain (64-105 gsm)
• Punched
• Recycled (64-105 gsm)
• Lightweight (52-63 gsm)
• Heavyweight (106-216 gsm)
• Custom 1-5

Is there a way to get them to share the paper catalog?
