Is it possible to Copy over or migrate printer settings from the Xerox Global Print Driver on a Windows Vista PC to a Windows 10 PC?
We print using several "Saved Settings" for different printing requirements and I'd prefer to not have to set them all up manually again if it can be helped.

3 days ago i buy a Workcentre 3025, very good printer and scanner, but i meet a problem, the printer is unable to print both side of A4 paper ? I have some documents, need to be printed both side of a paper but only option in options is to print left right, with low characters, is any way to print both side or i need to buy another printer ?
Thanks very much and other little issue, at every boot printer print a test page, is any way to stop the printer doing this ? to many papers on the bin !
Anything with color is is down to the design.
Save everything as pdf/x to print.
Make sure to use the printers color management, not Adobe's
Good paper and properly programmed
No third party drums and toners (the printer has to mix 4 colors of dirt to make every color it can, slightly change the color of any of those dirts and greatly change the accuracy of every color)
I'm sure my boss won't like the dirt comment, but it isn't all that inaccurate, it is ridiculous how much science there is to that dirt
The 3025 has no duplex (2-sided) feature, you have to manually duplex (print the first side and load back in the tray upside down to print on the other as a separate job)

So when the Release Lever on the toner cartridge is pressed upward, the cartridge does not completely release from the machine? There are 2 plungers in the machine that fit into the toner cartridges. The one on top has a spring that might be catching on the toner cartridge. Try wiggling up and down on the cartridge as you try to pull the cartridge out. If the toners cannot be removed using this method, the machine might need to be serviced by a qualifed technician.
Hello, I've installed the latest Xerox print manager
Linux Intel Driver .DEB x86_645.20.606.3946
from the official driver site on linux Ubuntu 16.04
The printer VersaLink B405 is recognized and setup but I cannot print anything.
When I try to print from the workstation I keep getting the error Completed Error 017-798 and nothing leaves the printer.
When I try to print directly form the built-in web server logged in as administrator I get another error and nothing leaves the printer.

Any help greatly apprieciated since I cannot the printer to work.

When I print a document in colour, yellow horizontal thin lines appear on the document (entire page) - see attached image.
I attempted to troubleshoot the issue by:
- Removing and putting back the yellow cartridge, a new cartridge installed last week.
- Verified that not paper or piece of paper was jammed in any area.
- Printed the colour drum test page.
- Verified the cleanliness of the printer.
And the problem remains.
- Is it possible that the problem originates from another piece of the printer?
- Does anyone have any solution that they have applied and which resolved the problem?
- If the problem is with the cartridge, how should I proceed to request a replacement from Xerox?
- Any suggestions?

017-798 = Job type print made that is prohibited.
That would mean something in the job is calling for something you locked down on the printer.
My guess would be it was done in here, but that is just a guess, it may also be that you are trying to submit to a Mailbox, and the printer doesn't support that.
The other one is pretty clear in your screenshot
Retry the web submission using VennDiagram2.pdf and it will work
Assuming the correct stock settings don't work, you can just "roll your own" as it were.
The following is cut and paste from something I documented previously, so pretend it doesn't mention Linen, just replace it with 13*19 @ 300GSM. (Cause I don't have the time to take pictures of the UI with this particular scenario)

Go to the copier and log in as the admin.
Then go to Machine Status > Tools > Common Service Settings > Paper Tray Settings > Custom Paper Settings
Choose one and give it a name, and adjust the Adjust Image Transfer setting
Usually the percentage needs to be raised, I suggest going in increments of 10% for both sides until you get a number that works with your stock
Then load a tray and choose the created Paper type from the list. (I called mine Linen in the above steps)
Then, if the Fiery/Freeflow gives issues, you will have to choose the stock type as Use Machine Settings (Fiery) or Use Loaded (FFPS) since the actual stock name won't exist in either of them.
As for actually fixing the printer instead of a workaround, that would require a service call from a professional.

Yes, when the Release Lever all the three colour cartridges do not completely release from the machine - the black cartridge only comes out with no problem.I wiggled up and down on the yellow cartridge, which was empty. I heard a "clack" (well, maybe a small "crack"... I started gently, then I become a bit nervous and more rude) and the cartridge came out, with a half of the hollow plunger on bottom stuck on the cartridge cylinder. I put the plunger piece back, it seems damaged as a small plastic part is broken, but still capable to stay in position. Now I have the new yellow cartridge and the machine working correctly, while cyan and magenta are still stuck as before and "nearly empty", so in a next future I will have the same problem to replace them.
Now I wonder: is there a way to disengage the Lower Plungers (without damaging them)?

Im testing a workflow for an end user. Due to size of files when printing across the network, it may be best to submit job(PDF file) directly to a 7855 via Centreware. The PDF has some pages in landscape, some in portrait. When we request duplex, the 7855 doesnt duplex it. Is this a known issue with mixed orientation PDFs?

He has a Windows server sharing the driver, not a Mac.
The Macs don't inherit the Windows preferences.
There was no question here on locally setting the preferences on the client Macs, the question was pushing the Windows preferences to the mac clients
It isn't known. Might just be with very large files though, or a specific bug in a specific firmware.

I'm running a Mac with OS 10.4.7 networked to a C70 w/Fiery. Does anybody know of a older driver that might work with setup. Fiery could be bypassed. We prefer to print simple jobs straight from driver.

We're having the same issue with our new 7845i. It only buzzes during the printing process and for about 10 seconds after printing. Pretty loud and pretty annoying. I saw a post about replacing the CPU fan. Given our symptoms, do folks think that is our problem?
