So support dont care about problem and nobody wont do something about it...Ok. Thats was the last printers xerox that we buyed. But lastly, I'll talk with your management about your lousy work, or rather about that you nothing do about customer problems. I think you are paid a salary in vain, just for nothing. And I will bring this idea to the authorities of support, if the authorities are like you, I will take higher. And your disregard for this topic will be the most vivid confirmation of my words.

Look i am not first year working as administrator and if i writing that it doesnt print that is. Well when i trying to print from web interface of google drive it says "error when printing" but thats not the main. The main thing is to download that doc file and open in microsoft word (our company use office 2010 with latest updates) and then you will see the problem...

Unknown print jobs from Remote User
I have seemingly random print jobs from a "Remote User" showing up on our Workcentre 7845. It just prints otherwise blank pages of the following:

I basically have the same issue from this thread.
The additional problem I have is that we have 80 or so users that print directly to this printer using raw. Oddly, I still see usernames attached to these raw print jobs. You can see this in the attached screenshots (dgwin is me and the port configuration is mine). Is there any way of tracking down the culprit device, or maybe another way of disabling "Remote User's" ability to print? As you can imagine, I'd rather not have to reconfigure the printer port for every user here if I can avoid it.

Are you running Qualys? Some older firmware releases would print garbage when being scanned.
It could be a new version of the Mirai botnet (Make sure you did not port forward the printer so users could print from outside the LAN)
But to narrow down where it comes from will require a trace, luckily, current firmware revisions have that built in. So enable it, wait for one of those jobs, note the time, download the trace and view the job at that time to find it's source.

6 Select Print Calibration
7 Following the onscreen instructions
8 Print your PCL job. If image is not acceptable, run the print calibration routine one more time.

That looks like it isn't fusing, and ends up peeling off on a roller then getting picked up again in the wrong spot, which would imply the paper is programmed wrong (plain vs cardstock for instance) or an incompatible 3rd party toner that has different melt point than Xerox branded.

Color 550 w/ Integrated Fiery Server cannot retrieve an IP address
We have a Xerox Color 550 set up in our office and it has been printing fine over our network, up until today. I saw that I did not have an IP assigned. I tested the port and the cable and could get a working connection and IP, but, under a different IP address than what was previously assigned to the printer via that same port.
It is configured to get an IP via DHCP, but it said DHCP failed. I tried assigning a static IP using the IP etc. that my computer received when hardwired into it, but could not connect to that printer at the new IP. I reverted the settings back to DHCP and rebooted the integrated server and printer several times, but haven't been able to get anywhere. I cannot access the printer in a web browser via the former IP at the moment, but when I first noticed the issue I saw that it said the printer was unavaiable via a web browser pointed at the IP.
The folks who purchased the printer, purchased it from another business and have not completed the transfer of ownership with Xerox, so their phone support could not assist me.
Please help!

The machine should be on dhcp. The Fiery should be whatever your network requires. That being said there could be a bunch of scenarios happening. The Fiery may not be coming up to ready. Normally 00 should be lit up on the side of it. Also do not use the rocker switch to turn it off/on. Push the led in to turn it on, push and hold to turn it off. That is just a few things to ponder.

Planning to print paintings
Hello
I manage an online art gallery who sell original paintings and now I'm planing to open a new gallery selling prints after paintings. Can anyone suggest me what printer should I choose for best quality in my case? I would like the color reproduction / depths to be the best as possible as I'm planing to print mostly abstract painting images.
Also what I need is a whide format printer for 30x40in sizes and to be able to print on canvas.

WorkCentre 6605 - default tray based on function
Hi,
we have a WorkCentre 6605 that until a few days ago printed faxes from tray 1 as set by the technician when we bought it. Now it prints faxes from tray 2 which we use only for prints from computers. We could not reach the technician and we don't remember how to set it the right way. We have already checked knowledge base and user guide but we cannot find how to set the machine to print faxes from a specific tray. Could you help me please?
