Im trying to adjust the color curve on a job. im using the newest fiery with the efi es 2000 and Im trying to match 287 and it keeps coming out purple. Also every time i open image enhance visual editor it crashes. Tech support was no help, not a big fan of this new software

If you can't see it and it can't see the accounting server then it would seem it isn't on the LAN.
Check that the network port is plugged in.
Check that it has the right IP address (Machine status, IPv4 is center of the screen)
Reboot the printer and see if anything gets resolved.

Problems printing double sided on Xerox Phaser 7500
Hi,
We have various Xerox 7500 at work in which I look after, however one of them has problems printing double-sided. One side appears to print fine, whilst the second seems very faded.
Originally the printer had a 'Replace Developer Unit 1' error message in which I replaced the developer unit and cleared the fault via the service diag menu.
I have replaced the Fuser (twice) Toners, Imaging Unit, Duplexer, Developer Unit 1, Transfer Belt, Transfer belt and paper. I have also changed the fuser temp from -5 to 5 all which have made no difference.
No I believe my problem might be linked to the fuser as I did get problems printing one side but after changing the fuser temperature in the settings it appeared to work fine.
Could my problem be linked to the replacement of the Developer Unit even though it printer perfectly one one sided?
One of my colleagues believes it might be a bad low voltage power supply but I don't think I am convince.
Does anyone know what would cause this issue?
I have attached two pictures, one of side 1 which is printed one and one of side 2 with poor faded print quality

When you spoke to support to you give relevant information like what version of CWS (5 or 6), what the file is (.pdf.ind.ps etc) how it was submitted (App through driver, Hotfolder, drag and drop in CWS etc etc) What color profile you are modifying, what color is embedded vs what is printing, what actual color you are trying to hit (287 isn't a color, its a number, Pantone Matt 287 is a blueish color, and DIC287 is very not blue)
And what printer is it? Which Fiery? Is the Fiery patched to the latest via updates? What firmware on the printer?

Xerox 7500 Printer gibberish on start up
We have a Xerox 7500 and everytime we turn it on, it always wants to print 69 pages of one to a few lines of random gibberish text. I've noticed this only happens when it is turned on and connected to the network. I've check the print queue and there isn't anything waiting to print.
I've check the PCL settings and thats all turned off.
Anyone know why this would occur?

Workcentre 3045: REPLACE PRINTER - END OF LIFE
Hello,
I have my Xerox Workcentre 3045 for 3 years and it shows a message "REPLACE PRINER END OF LIFE". What does the meassage mean? A restart of printer does not help. How can I clear this message? Should I replace the fuser??

Something is on the LAN that is being sent to the printer to be printed, probably not intentionally.
Wireshark is the only method to root out what and where.
Easier method is to simply change the IP of the printer, which will at least break anything sending to the IP of the printer, but won't stop something sending to its host name.
There are virus's that do that
There are hackers who do so to people who think it a good idea to port forward to the printer.
Security software running on the LAN also occasionally try and telnet/ftp/smb submit data to the printer to expose exploits, and a printer not being a computer, just prints garbage because it can't do anything else, it isn't capable of opening scripts.

For the tones you can adjust those using these steps. If you are still unable to get the printer to print your custom size please consider contacting the Customer Relations group about your problems with the machine and with support.

D125 with Fiery can't print pdf files which are large in size
Hello,
We have noticed that when we need to print a pdf file that is 360MB in file size and 400 pages big will crash the Fiery and printer at the same time. Sometimes even couple 100MB files with 120 or so pages will freeze the printer which requires a reboot. What can be done to address this issue?

WorkCentre 7232 colour printing from Mac OS
Hello,
We have WorkCentre 7232 and have several Mac OS computers that need to use it.
We were able to print using the Generic PCL5 driver but it does not allow color printing.
I have installed the latest driver that was publushed on 24 Sept this week and have added the printer again with this driver.
Printing the test page let to no test page printed but many empty pages. It almost emptied the tray.
Could I ask why do you publish a driver if it doesn't work at all on Mac OS?
Is there a way to make it print color?

Tray 5 can't not be installed
Grayed out on a Fiery has never meant it is not available, it means it is a conflict, and by selecting the Tray 5 that is greyed out it will tell you why, and in most cases, also fix the conflict. So do that, and if still an issue, give us a description of the error as well as screenshots.

It will cost money to make it compatible.
The 7232 was sold with the PS kit as an option, so it would seem you do not pay for the PS kit, and therefore can only send PCL, and they don't develop PCL drivers for MAC, just PS. Apple adds the Generic PCL driver to it's OS to allow only basic ability to get you by.
Of course Mac/Linux gurus have made their own Color PCL drivers for CUPS, which is how Unix/Linux/OSX does print, and I know this method works with Xerox and Konica (and probably more)

Everytime I print, whether it be in publisher or Adobe (Pro and Acrobat Reader) it prints 4 pages on each side. It comes out folded but only on one page. I have managed to get it to print 2 pages per side but then the content is about half the size it should be.
I have been trying for 4 hours to figure this out and I can't. I have gone through the forum and tried the solutions that worked for others but I am clearly doing something wrong. Please help me.

Find out where the problem comes from.
Print from the print option in Acrobat (testing the driver and app)
Print from Acrobat with "print as image" selected (testing the driver and removing transparencies and fonts etc etc)
Import the pdf direct via Webtools or CWS (Eliminates the software and the driver)
If it happens with import, either the file is terribly made and spools to 2GB or more and crashes the system, or the Fiery is corrupt/has bad HDD/RAM
If the driver is the problem, make sure you use a LPR port and that SNMP and LPR Byte counting is not enabled on it, then try another driver if still an issue.
If the issue lies in Acrobat, either change the settings (print as image, font policy etc etc) or start creating files for print properly ala PDF/x to strip out the garbage data (transparencies/layers etc)
