I am on a Mac, if that makes a difference. I had set the document size to the correct specifications and even that didn't work.

Re: Bypass tray won't recognize loaded custom paper
Somewhere in your job it is requesting portrait 8.5*11, you need to find it to resolve the issue, the Document Size (Apple) and the paper size (Xerox Features > Paper / Output) or somewhere in the Application itself.
Re: Xerox Altalink C8000 Color Accuracy Issues
Hi Joe. Any way you can provide us with the x.x.097.09608v4 firmware for a 8070?
A little update on what our experience has been with firmware 100.003.057.096808. If using the GPD PS 5520.600.0 driver, the color accuracy is still pretty bad in regards to Cyan and Magenta. Using the GPD PCL 5520.600.0 driver, color accuracy is much improved although the colors are washed out a bit.
Re: Phaser 6280 won't print on wifi network
Ha! It misbehaved again -- it just says "Data Wait USB" with a green flashing light forever, and then gives up. So I printed out the config page and it says "Getting IP Address..."!
Re: Xerox Altalink C8000 Color Accuracy Issues
Although that release is older then the 25400 version... Better wait for the next release....
Re: Xerox Altalink C8000 Color Accuracy Issues
Oh, pressed Post too quick. I meant the 097.25400 releases.

Re: Printer's Active queue releases jobs to unwanted users
not sure if this has any effect on followme printing...
If you go to properties, services, secure print you can change it to prompt for passcode before releasing jobs.
Re: Xerox Altalink C8000 Color Accuracy Issues
Luckily the latest firmware always resides at the same link, so if I give you the links now, they will go to 100.XXX.097.25400. But later, when the next release comes, they will go to it instead.
So bookmark the ones you need, and when the end number changes from 25400, download and install (and hope)
And thanks for chiming in Fabio, it's nice to have a backup in this place ;-)
Re: Xerox WorkCentre 3335 envelope whirling
There was no problem with the old printer. The envelope is too width to change orientation. There is no option heavier weight if I choose paper envelope type.
Re: Xerox WorkCentre 3335 envelope whirling
we always print it with the flap open, that sometimes helps
Re: Printer's Active queue releases jobs to unwanted users
no, once job is released out follow me, its already in the printer, you cant change that in papercut
another approach is to use SNMP validation in papercut, that will check if the machine is in error
but i never use that, it also has disadvantages
for example
before every print job, it checks the counters, so there is a small delay on every job
also, if you make a print, and while in login session, you can make copy, papercut doesnt know whats going on :)
Re: Printer's Active queue releases jobs to unwanted users
#js983e Thanks for the tip, but we want things to be simple.
Re: Printer's Active queue releases jobs to unwanted users
#Fabio Thanks for reply, this is interesting. I will let you know of the outcome, but we need to decide if is worth making the change.
ColorQube 9302 missing tray options
Hi all,
I'm experiencing a strange problem, We have a ColorQube 9302 in our office which a few of us connect to over the network. We sometimes use tray 4 (bypass) to print labels as they often become stuck to the cylinders inside the printer if used in the internal trays. So long story short, everything was working fine up until the point where the machine was turned off for a planned power outage. After being rebooted it only gives some users the option to print on trays 1,2 & 3. I'm currently sat with 2 of my colleagues and they are both running windows 7, they only see those trays. I however, can see all trays without any problem on my windows 10 laptop. We are all connected over network and I have even tried removing and adding the printer again but it had no effect.
We contacted Xerox support yesterday and a service representative had me reset the software on the printer. Once it had booted up again I had one of my colleagues try printing from tray 4 and she could. Soon after she tried printing a document and found that the option was no longer there. What makes things stranger is that we have another printer (the same model) in our sister company which is on the same LAN (we use it in emergencies) and my colleagues have all the tray options available for that printer.
Has anyone heard of this sort of bahaviour before? I'm finding it quite frustrating.
Thanks
Glen

macOS Sierra with a C75 Press Fiery: Inserting a pre-printed cover in a booklet
I work for a large church and we have a Xerox C75 Press with Fiery. I use an iMac and the operating system is the macOS Sierra.
Quarterly, I print an 8-1/2 x 11 magazine on 11x17 paper with no problems whatsoever.
HOWEVER....our office needs to print a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" booklet, but wants to insert an already pre-printed cover on the outside of it, prior to folding/center stapling. I've tried using the very same settings as I usually do on the Fiery for the larger magazine, only changing the paper sizes, etc. I'm saving each page, in order as PDFs, using the fiery, etc. like I always do. I've tried adding the cover in the bypass and indicating as such in the Command Workstation, but I'm having terrible trouble. The bypass simply will NOT spit out the cover to include it. And on top of it, NOTHING will print when I try this. Other projects, papers, sheets, etc. print just fine, but this print job is giving me real headaches. These need printed tomorrow or Monday, so I'm trying to get this figured out so when she comes in tomorrow, we have no snags when she's absolutely ready to print them.
Thank so much, in advance for any help you can give me.
Re: macOS Sierra with a C75 Press Fiery: Inserting a pre-printed cover in a booklet
Just install Command Workstation and set the cover option in there instead of in Acrobat or the driver on the Mac.
If it fails there, archive the job in Command Workstation, zip the archive and post it so I can retrieve it and test in the lab on out C75 with Fiery.
