I have a Xerox 7500 thats printing very faintly. I checked the Error message history and there seems to be a repeating error message of 340:92973
Anyone know what this could be and if it is linked to the print quality?

Re: macOS Sierra with a C75 Press Fiery: Inserting a pre-printed cover in a booklet
I already have Command Workstation installed. I use it quite often. I've tried adding the cover in the bypass of the C75 and indicating as such in the Command Workstation, but it's still giving me fits. The gal who has the actual work document is not here the rest of today. Tomorrow morning when she gets here, I can get the actual file from her. I've been working with a "sample" doc to try and figure it out before she's ready.
On another hand, I've spoken with the sales office that we got it from, and the gal there is having me call her in the morning so she can talk us through it, or she will come over and help us set it up.
Joe, thank you, for your willingness to help. Hopefully, I won't have to bother you anymore.

Docuprint C2100 says Load tray 1 when tray is full
I have checked the paper to ensure it it flat, checked the slides in the paper tray and I still get this message. Any suggestions?

I Have Some issue regarding my printer
I have an issue in my printer dell e525w, connectivity of my printer fluctuates very much. or sometimes it was restarted also and it was out of warranty and company to say they charge 2500 dollar if I want my printer fixed by them. so pls suggest me good printer solution vendor.

Printing to WorkCenter 7835 from Linux w/ AMD architecture?
I am trying to print to my university's public printer, it is a WorkCenter 7835. My computer is running KDE Neon LTE, a variant of Ubuntu w/ KDE graphics. I have an AMD processor rather than Intel; I am using x86_64 architecture.
Looking at the Linux drivers for this model, there are multiple DEB and RPM versions (http://www.support.xerox.com/support/workcentre-7800-series/downloads/enus.html?associatedProduct=WorkCentre-78xx-built-in+controller&operatingSystem=linux&fileLanguage=en). I downloaded the DEB version for x86_64, but it is titled Linux Intel Driver. I don't know if that implies it does not support AMD systems. The other DEB driver is for i686, which is an intel processor type, not an architecture type. There is nothing listed for AMD systems. This is the only thing I think could be going wrong right now. Anyway, I executed that deb file to install the driver.
I then installed and ran xeroxprtmgr w/ sudo. I then followed the instructions at http://users.wfu.edu/yipcw/wfu/xerox/ubuntu/. This was clicking the two down arrows for the install printer window. Then I clicked on the list icon on the top right, then manual install. Next I found the WorkCenter 7835, and input the IP listed on the actual printer in the options menu, gave it a name and hit okay. Next I went to that printer's queue settings>configuration tab>accounting, selected Xerox Standard Accounting, left everything else as default, and hit okay. I was told the accounting part was neccessary by the tech staff at the university.
Lastly, I used the command xhost +si:localuser:lp to ensure my user has privileges to automatically open the xerox accounting/printing manager when it became time to print. (This step is described here: http://forum.support.xerox.com/t5/Printing/invalid-accounting-ID-linux/td-p/21827).
Finally I tried printing a pdf file with Okular. No xerox software ever popped up, just the regular printing menu. Hit the print button and nothing happened.
Any thoughts??

Printing from Tray 5, 6, 7 issue Xerox 700
I own a Xerox 700 Digital color press, now i have an issue trying to print from tray 5, 6 and 7. it has an embarqued Fiery.
When i select to print from Tray 1, 2 or 3, then it's OK.
When i Select to print from 5, 6 or 7 it says "Tray 1 is Empty" or if its loaded with paper it prints from tray 1 which doesnt support 300gsm paper
Anyone knows where the problem come from?

Printing with Xerox model 3335
I have a Xerox work station model 3335 running under a Mac OS X v.10.6.6 and running Windows under bootcamp.
When under the Mac O.S the printer prints faultlessely, but when in bootcamp running Windows 10 every print request goes into the print queue and stays there. There is no way I can get it to print.
If there are two documents in the Windows print queue I am often told that document number 1 is stopping the printing of ducument 2.
Deleting document 1 does nothing to sort out the problem.

How to create a print queue?
Hello, at my company we are trying to create two print queues, one for black and white and the other for color. I have searched everywhere and cannot find out how to create these queues. Everything I come across seems to need an a physical server to host the drivers on, etc. Is there no way to create two print queues for one Xerox 7225 printer virtually? One that only prints B&W and another that only pritns to color?

There are no queues on it, it is a simple office product.
To get Queues you need a DFE, like a Fiery or a Freeflow, or a Creo.
On Office devices you just have the driver, so you can install the driver 2 times, and set the preferences to what you need in each one, and name them as such, ala
Xerox 7225 PS- Color
Xerox 7225 PS- BW
Those 2 drivers could be installed locally, or installed on any PC in the location that does not get shut off and simply share them out via Windows to make it a print server of sorts.

pages print rotated except for the first page AltaLink C8035
Using a Xerox AltaLink C8035, when printing a mulitpal page .pdf the first page will print out properly (landscape) then all the following pages will print protrait with the context being landscape.

So the Mac is using IPP/Bonjour to print, but what is Windows using?
If it is LPR, switch it to RAW (or vice-versa)
In either case SNMP and LPR byte counting should not be enabled
LPR queue name should be lp
RAW port should be 9100
None of this can be changed if there are jobs in queue, so delete them all before attempting to change them

Driver incompatibility
Take the IP of the Fiery and put it in the address bar of your web browser to load Fiery Webtools.
Go to the Downloads tab and grab the Printer Files for your OS.
Install that driver via an LPR port, queue name is either print or hold (Lower case, depends on the action you want the job to do)
LPR Byte counting and SNMP are both not checked.
Also, make sure this applies to all applications and not just Word, or Acrobat/Reader, because they can over ride the driver too, if it is a specific app, name it and I will tell you what to change app side.
Or, try to set the options in Command Workstation since that will eliminate the PC, the driver, and the application.
